Oystercatcher

Oystercatcher, made from lost black and white fishing rope. His eye, beak and feet were a washed up orange bucket. 

He stands next to plastic 'pebbles' that have been collected from my local beach. They are a type of plastiglomerate, melted plastic that has been tumbled to look like a pebble. 

All these items have been found on the strandlines of my local Cornish beaches. 

The bird measures almost 15cm high. 
Totally original. 

It will be placed in a white box frame with a glass front to protect it measuring 27x27cm. 

It will hang on your wall or stand independently.

Please note that it has been signed by me discreetly beside the pebbles.

This is the perfect conversation starter, an ideal present for ocean lovers, eco-warriors, surfers and students.

All my art is made from plastic that I find on my beautiful beaches and I create them in my workshop in my Cornish cottage.

I make a donation to The Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust to help with the valuable work they do to help seals and preserve their environment🦭 🌊

My packaging includes recycled/reused cardboard, brown paper and paper tape. 
Reused bubble wrap and shock absorbing material will be used if travelling to US. 

It will come with a hand written note from me on one of my printed post cards.
