Charity & Volunteering
I am deeply committed to supporting environmental conservation. Over the years, I have actively donated to and volunteered with various charities dedicated to these causes including the Cornwall Seal Research Group Trust, CPPC, Surfers Against Sewage and The 2 Minute Beach Clean.
A percentage of all proceeds from my art are donated annually to the Cornwall Seal Research Group Trust led by the wonderful Sue Sayer in Hayle.
Cornwall Seal Research Group
Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust (CSGRT) is an award-winning conservation charity dedicated to studying and protecting grey seals, a globally rare mammal. Through a network of citizen scientists, CSGRT routinely surveys seals to gather vital data.
I personally donate a percentage of each item I sell to CSGRT and provide framed pictures of seals which are available in their online shop.
Cornwall Plastic Pollution Coalition
I volunteer with the Cornish Plastic Pollution Coalition (CPPC) a couple of times each month, delivering engaging workshops about plastic pollution to primary and secondary school children, as well as events for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. The CPPC is a dedicated group of environmental organisations, community volunteers, scientists, and activists who care deeply about Cornwall's wildlife, coast, and countryside.
