Whimbrel

Whimbrel, made from rope, canvas, wool and fabric. He has a rubber eye, his feet were a washed up flower pot and his beak was made from the insole of a beach shoe. 

He walks on the strandline made from lost rope and a lost sock. 

All these items have been found on the strandlines of my local Cornish beaches. 

The bird measures almost 14cm high. 
Totally original. 

It will be placed in a white box frame with a glass front to protect it measuring 27x27cm. 

It will hang on your wall or stand independently.

This is the perfect conversation starter, an ideal present for ocean lovers, eco-warriors, surfers and students.

All my art is made from plastic that I find on my beautiful beaches and I create them in my workshop in my Cornish cottage.

My packaging includes recycled/reused cardboard, brown paper and paper tape. 
Reused bubble wrap and shock absorbing material will be used if travelling to US. 

It will come with a hand written note from me on one of my printed post cards.
