Lego Shark!
I can't believe I am the custodian of this LEGO shark.
Back in the summer, a lady who sea swims and cleans beaches met me at my market stall and gave me the famous LEGO SHARK! It's the second one known to have been found and documented.
The first one was earlier in August 2024 by a fisherman, found in his nets. The news went viral and the LEGO community looked on enviously! He had found a pale grey one of which there were 29,600. This one is a darker grey one and there were 22,200 in the container.
I still can't believe that she gave it to me. She knows I am a huge collector of lost LEGO. She says she found it in 2022!!
Andrea sea swims with Vanessa in the St Ives area and they regularly remove bag fulls of litter from the shores. She gives me her beach plastic which I use in my art. I honestly can't thank them enough.
I am truly honoured that this little shark has come into my safe-keeping. He will live among all the other pieces of LEGO that I have found, including the rare octopus,a dragon head and a tiny radio.
